Workout Wednesday: Kick Kick Kick!

Happy Workout Wednesday! We are going to continue focusing on the kick this week. If you read our last post then you will know exactly why you need this in your life! If you haven’t, then you can catch up here! This week is going to make those legs burn. This is 2000 yard workout will probably have you walking on jelly legs when you get out. Warm Up

8 x 50 @ :10 rest 1-4 are easy warm up your choice of equipment. Then 5-8 are a comfortable build.

4 x 25 @ :10 rest Quick and clean! Fast swims but maintaining good technique.

Main Set

6 x 50 @ :10 rest streamline kick on your back with fins. Descend 1-4 then sprint 5 and 6

2 x 25 @ :10 rest drill easy

3 x 100 @ :15 rest Sprint streamline kick on your stomach with fins and a front snorkel.

2 x 25 @ :10 rest drill easy

2 x 150 @ :15 rest Alternate 100 build streamline kick on your back with fins/50 Sprint swim with 6 beat kick!

4 x 25 @ :10 rest drill easy

1 x 200 MAX EFFORT KICK WITH FINS!!!

Cool Down

1 x 200 easy swimming focusing on technique and feeling good.
